The opportunity to network and share ideas is as an important benefit of attending a conference. Yet how often to do you leave the event feeling you didn’t really make the most of the networking opportunities?Make the most of networking opportunities at ACIIA/SOPAC® 2010!
As well as the time honoured social activities such as the Cocktail Party and the Conference Dinner, this year we have really worked on making it easier for you to identify and network with people who have similar interests to you. Among the new initiatives are:
- Events set up on LinkedIn and Facebook to enable you to pre-network. Why not register your attendance and invite others to do so too?
- A dedicated area at the conference venue that’s flagged for sector/interest specific networking at breaks
- Marked tables for sector/interest specific networking at conference lunches
- A ‘meet the speaker’ booth to enable you to ask questions that may not have seemed appropriate in the session
