Internal Audit Quality Assessment: Performing the Reviews

The IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) requires internal and external assessments of Internal Audit to be undertaken periodically to appraise the quality of Internal Audit operations
This forms part of an Internal Audit Unit’s  Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (Standard 1300)

This training course will set you up to conduct Quality Assessments of Internal Audit Units and covers:

 The Standards
 The Quality Standards
 Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP)
 External Assessments
 Self–Assessment with Independent Validation (SAIV)
 Quality Assessment Templates
 Case Study

The training course culminates in a test of objective which when successfully completed entitles the participant to the IIA Accreditation in Internal Quality Assessment Validation

Outcomes
Participants will leave the training course with the knowledge to conduct a Quality Assessment, plus a complete toolkit of easy–to–use information and templates that can be immediately applied back in your Internal Audit Unit
A presentation suitable for marketing the Quality Assessment process to Audit Committees and Executives is also included
