The Institute of Internal Auditors - Australia is the global voice of the internal audit profession. Our advocacy approach - encompassing media coverage, position papers and submissions -ensures that our members and the profession as a whole is well represented with decision makers and influencers.
The Institute works in a range of ways to progress the quality and authority of the internal audit profession in Australia and internationally.
The IIA-Australia issues media releases on matters which affect its members, the profession and better practices in corporate governance.
The IIA-Australia develops position papers advocating the Institute's policy in relation to key issues and trends in the internal audit sector.
The IIA-Australia formulates submissions in response to government discussions papers and exposure drafts where they directly impact on the internal audit profession, its members and its sphere of influence.
The IIA-Australia is extensively represented on a number of global committees and prominent working groups in Australia and abroad.

Scheme Title: Prequalification Scheme: Performance and Management Services
This will allow NSW Government organisations to appoint the IIA–Australia to conduct independent Quality Assessments of Internal Audit functions without the need to go outside the Prequalification Scheme.
