Sandra is an experienced Non-Executive Director with board roles for Auswide Bank and multiple wealth subsidiaries of the National Australia Bank. She chairs two audit committees and is a member of both risk committees and remuneration committees. She is an independent member of the audit committee of the Reserve Bank of Australia and a member of the risk and audit committee of the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Prior to commencing her NED career Sandra was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers leading their Risk Advisory and Risk Assurance Practices including 5 years as the leader of their global governance risk and compliance practice. She is well versed in both the theory and application of risk appetite both as a consultant and a board member. In her spare time she pursues yoga, scuba diving, skiing, quilting and piano..
