Chat GPT is developing fast and is now becoming a part of everyday life and being used across many industries. This session will explore how Chat GPT can be used within internal audit sphere and what are the pros and cons. This Members’ Meeting will provide the opportunity to share ideas and hear from two technical experts as they discuss the many sides of Chat GPT.

    Biography
    Theo is a governance, risk management, controls and data analytics expert. 
    He has had extensive experience in providing data analytics services to a broad range of public and private sector clients, including small and medium size privates; local councils; state and federal governments; not for profits; publicly listed entities; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations; and others.

    Through his experience, Theo has developed a database of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytic procedures that are performed on all types of quantitative, qualitative, structured and unstructured data sources. Each of these procedures is adapted, modified and aligned to the context and purpose of each client – with no shortcuts – to ensure the best possible outcomes and insights are gained.

    Biography
    Sean is passionate about data analytics and has approximately 18 years experience in the use of data analytic toolset in an audit context. Sean is considered a thought leader in the field of public sector data analytics and continuous monitoring. He has a current interest in how to integrate data analytics into assurance activities both inside internal audit and the broader corporate governance strategies and plans.
