VIC Members’ Meeting: Cybersecurity through the “Five Quick Wins for Board” Model – In-person
November 9 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm AEDT
Free - $65.00
Plan for the best but prepare for the worst, sounds nice but only works if you – practice, practice, practice!
In this session, Peter will introduce the “Five Quick Wins for Boards” model and the three lenses that are applied to link strategy to actionable steps before focusing on the following:
- Prepare and Verify – ensure an organisation is in a readiness state in the event of a cyber-attack
- Plan for a significant cyber security incident – to ensure they are prepared to manage the impact of cybersecurity incidences.
This session will finish with an exploration of tabletop exercises that allow companies to practice and verify their anticipated responses to cybersecurity incidents and take any corrective action.
