Presenter: Libby Skrpan AMIIA, Manager Internal Audit, Elders
Libby is an experienced internal audit, risk and governance professional who worked across Australia, Singapore and London. She started her career at PwC where she worked with both public and private organisations, delivering internal audit and risk projects. Some highlights include her work on large transformation projects such as South Australian land tax reform, privatisation of a compulsory third party insurance and workers compensation reform. She developed a risk management framework for the Lloyds Banking Group in London, the largest UK retail bank. Over the last 4 years, Libby head up the internal audit function at Elders limited. Maintaining a healthy tension between educating and challenging organisations is what defines her approach. Another one of her mottos is being pragmatic and contextualising issues to link parts of the organisation together and considering the “flow-on effect” to break down silos and drive change.
