Video-Linked Members Meeting - A National Conversation

Video-linked Members Meeting – A National Conversation
Trends in Economic Crime in Australia
9 July 2012
PwC, Brisbane

Following on from the success of last year’s video-linked members meeting, IIA-Australia would like to invite you to a similar session which will be a live video-broadcast from the PwC Sydney office to other chapters around the country.

In this session, Malcolm Shackell, Head of Investigations and Forensic Services at PwC, and his colleague Martin Sisk, will present the key findings from PwC's 6th Global Economic Crime Survey - one of the largest and most comprehensive surveys of its kind.

The survey highlights increasing levels of economic crime in Australia and in particular rises in the levels of fraud, cybercrime and bribery. This informative and interactive session will look at Australia's experiences of economic crime in comparison to the global average, and more importantly, what this means for Australian businesses.

Malcolm Shackell
is a partner in PwC's forensic services team and a member of the firm's global forensics leadership team. He has over 20 years’ experience in fraud investigation, risk management, and compliance. Malcolm works across industries and counts many of Australia's leading organisations as clients.

Martin Sisk leads the computer forensics team in Sydney, specialising in forensic technology, cybercrime investigations and electronic discovery. Martin has been with PwC for over 8 years, based in both the UK and Australia. Since joining the firm Martin has been involved in engagements in the public and private sector for large corporations, multinational companies, law firms and regulatory agencies, providing support for forensic accounting investigations and litigation.
