State of the profession - Leading the evolution of internal audit

Come join us for our end of year celebration where we will hear IIA Board President Mark Harrison. This session will provide an opportunity to reflect on the current state of the internal audit profession, its future expectations and discuss
what changes and directions the profession needs to make to continue to deliver value to its stakeholders. Key points to be discussed
• Internal audit today – Its position within organisations, its expectations and the value-add it is bringing to the table
• Changing stakeholder expectations – Is internal audit keeping up in today’s fast-paced operating environment?
• Understanding the changing skills set required to future proof the profession
• Resourcing of the internal audit function – Attraction and retention of internal audit staff
• The evolution of internal audit – What needs to change to ensure continued relevance?
