Webinar: Corporate Storytelling

Session Overview:

Facts, figures and reports are easily forgotten. Good, well told stories will be repeated. Storytelling is a unique way of creating insight and persuading people to modify their behaviour. It can be instrumental in conveying audit concepts like risk management, control and governance processes. It is said that if a person discovers a truth by themselves, they will own that truth. Story telling allows people to discover truths for themselves in a way that is non-threatening. A good story will automatically make any message more memorable. It will help people to understand the message and even understand themselves a little bit better. Story telling can convey audit findings in a more accessible way.

What I will learn:

  • A few stories that can be applied to many situations.
  • See a demonstration of how stories are used to make people discover truths.
  •  How stories can be used to carry a message into someone's memory.
  • Overview of Corporate storytelling and its use in audit messages

Who should attend:

Head of Audit, Audit Managers.

Anyone that needs to communicate important truths and make it accessable to others.
