Topic:  A panel discussion on practical risk management and audit frameworks


Details: This engaging and interactive panel discussion will explore the varying risk management and audit structures and functions from the perspective of the public sector, corporates and public practitioners.  The panel will explore and discuss the various ways in which their organisations have developed and implemented a risk and audit function, what emerging risks they are confronting, and what challenges they have.  The panel consists of:




Elizabeth Lovett -  Elizabeth leads the Deloitte Tasmanian risk advisory practice.  Elizabeth has over 13 years’ of experience with Deloitte in delivering Risk Advisory, Internal Audit and Consulting roles. Elizabeth is also responsible for the delivery of Internal Audit and Risk Advisory services to a wide range of clients across the public and private sector in Tasmania.


Angelique Klasan - Angelique manages the risk and audit program across the DPFEM agency, implementing a corporate risk framework for a diverse group of business units. She has a background in management consulting, internal controls program management, and corporate risk management.  She has worked with senior global executives, general managers and project delivery teams globally and across Australia.


Paul McTaggart – Paul is currently the Team Leader Compliance and Risk at TasNetworks and has more than 20 years risk management, internal audit, external audit and commercial experience in a variety of private and public sector entities.  Paul has also served on Boards and Audit Committees.
