NSW Members' Meeting - August

IIA-Australia's NSW Chapter is joining forces with ISACA to bring you a professional development event not to be missed!

We will have a presentation followed by a panel discussion. Attendees will hear from high-profile, multi-award-winning risk professional, Rinske Geerlings, on how to shift the stigma that comes with being an auditor. A distinguished panel will provide insights into the successes, challenges and lessons learnt from some of Sydney's top female and male leaders, as we delve into the world of successful Women in Leadership.

Rinske Geerlings
Rinske Geerlings, Risk Consultant of the Year 2017 (RMIA – Australasia), and Managing Director of Business As Usual; has more than 20 years’ experience in BCP, IT Management and Business Process Improvement work – gained during roles in IT, Financial Services, Consulting and Training work across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe.

Panel discussion with:
Christopher Ladds
Christopher Ladds is a Director in PwC' Risk Assurance team specializing in Healthcare. He has over 20 years of experience working in the Healthcare industry both in the UK and Australia. Chris has spent most of his career delivering complex technology and change transformation programs.

Dr Susan Jones
Susan Jones in the first Vice President of the International Federation of Business & Professional Women. She has held directorships in both business and not-for-profit. She has been a Trustee on CEDA, Committee for Economic Development of Australia and was nominated by the State Government for the Telstra Business Woman of the Year Award.

Petra Koziollek
Petra Koziollek is a highly effective audit and risk executive with over 20 years of strategic and practical hands-on experience. Experience gained through working with a wide range of organisations in the private sector and across all three levels of government. A certified internal auditor and chartered accountant, she is currently the Chief Audit Executive at TAFE NSW.

Dr Yvette Blount
Dr Blount’s areas of expertise include anywhere working (telework, telecommuting), cybersecurity governance, e-governance, effective utilisation of information and communication technology. Dr Blount’s research program utilises multidisciplinary approaches to investigate how information systems are utilised to achieve organisational strategies and objectives.
