Evaluation and Audit in Aid Programs

Geoffrey Campbell of Nexia Australia will host Lynne Duckham (OAM) as she discusses her extensive experience working in and with a range of countries, communities, organisations and governments in the development/aid sector and provide insights into the evaluation and audit of aid programs.

Lynne has wide-ranging leadership and advisory experience as a senior executive, in high level representation, advocacy, negotiation, collaboration and strategic program development across countries, cultures and sectors. Her leadership skills have been recognised with an Order of Australia Medal.

Lynne has had the unique experience of working in and understanding aid from donor, beneficiary government employee, and NGO perspectives.

Lynne has an MBA in International Management, is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders (Aus & NZ), and has dedicated many years to capacity building in developing and developed countries. She has audited AusAID and Canadian government programs, and advised governments, private industry, NGOs and communities on program development, assessment, monitoring and evaluation.

As one of the Rotary Foundation's Technical Cadre, Lynne evaluates and provides advice on the development, management and sustainability of Rotary Global Grant projects, programs and proposals. Recently this has been for programs being implemented in Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Taiwan, by and through Rotary partnerships in various other countries. She is particularly responsible for evaluating, assessing and advising upon international programs in the areas of: peace and conflict resolution; economic and community development, education and literacy; health, water and sanitation.
