WA Members Meeting - In person-Cyber Security and Future of Internal Audit

Cyber Security and Future of Internal Audit-

Please note that this is to register to attend in person. Please click here to register for online.

During this talk, Michael will explore what the future of internal audit looks like from a cyber security perspective taking into consideration continuous control monitoring and the technical and non-technical skills required. To improve and continue Internal Audit relevance for the business we delve into how to embrace a data-driven and threat intelligence informed audit planning approach. Multiyear audit plans should be robustly challenged whilst being responsive to emerging risks.

The accelerated adoption of digital transformation initiatives as a result of the pandemic underscored the need for Internal Audit teams to have audit agility. The shift to remote working has created a new normal increasing the potential risk and reports of cyber-crime. Even more so as a result of the pandemic every business has become a digital business. Ensuring your business remains secure and resilient to disruption has never been more important.
