National Members' Meeting - February - Internal Audits Role in Sustainability

Hosted by the IIA-Australia VIC Chapter

Join IIA-Australia for a National Members' Meeting with Rich Turley on Internal Audits Role in Sustainability.

Sustainability is increasingly becoming a core value driver for many businesses and organsiations globally. The recent COP26 meeting accelerated changes that have already been happening over the past few years and there is likely to be an increasing focus on sustainability and environmental social governance (ESG) from customers investors and regulators in Australia, particularly for those organisations exposed to a global market. This will be an interactive session that explores the different definitions of ESG, recent market trends both in Australia and globally that are influencing stakeholders expectations, what a sustainability program can look like and the role of internal audit in supporting management in evaluation and evolving ESG practice.
