Small Internal Audit shops forum

by Nicola Morgan | Sep 28, 2017
Last weeks' full day forum hosted by the NSW Chapter, attracted more than 30 participants from a mix of Audit Committee members, CAEs, internal audit staff as well as consultants from government, NFP and Corporates including financial services. Due to high demand, registration had to be cut off early. Attendants travelled from all of NSW including regional areas like Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Wollongong. The ‘knowledge exchange’ covered a variety of topics such as Managing co-sourced arrangements, IT audits and Using systems and technology to achieve efficiencies.

The overall rating by participants was ‘excellent’. There is now a dedicated webpage for the small internal audit shop knowledge exchange network. It will grow with resources as time passes, such as Analytics: Good Practices for (Smaller) IAFs.

The next Small Internal Audit Shop forum is planned for February 2018.
