Global Certification email

by Nicola Morgan | Oct 05, 2017
IIA-Australia members who hold global certifications may have received communication from IIA-Global regarding their CPE reporting requirements. We were not aware that this email was being sent to you and, had we known, we would have warned you of what to expect.

Notwithstanding this, it has always been the case that those who hold one or more certifications need to complete minimum levels of Continuing Professional Development (CPE) in order for their certification/s to remain active.  Details are here.

IIA-Global has been progressively transferring most global certification administration, including payments, through its Certification Candidate Management System (CCMS).  This has been the case in IIA-Australia since the start of this calendar year.

There is an annual fee that needs to be paid when you log into CCMS for each certification you hold.  This is an IIA-Global fee that covers the cost of administering CPE reporting and subsequent auditing of selected certification holders.  IIA-Australia does not benefit from these fees.

Professional development activities that you complete through IIA-Australia are acceptable CPE.  These include attendance at conferences, public or in-house training courses, and webinars.
