IIA-Australia developed a
professional qualification specifically designed to meet the Australian market and education framework. Built on a globally aligned competency framework, IIA-Australia's professional qualification will ensure you will have the skills you need to practice as a professional internal auditor. The Institute also continues to offer the global CIA program. This certification is internationally accepted as the global certification for Internal Auditors.

Quality
IIA-Australia offers comprehensive and essential
quality assurance programs, including facilitated self-assessments, external quality assessments, evaluation of your audit function performance in line with industry benchmarks and conformity to the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) - the only standards that are applicable to internal audit.
Learning and Development
IIA-Australia is committed to promoting best practice wherever internal auditing is undertaken. The IIA-Australia operates a range of public and in-house training programs, webinars, events and conferences to ensure that professionals continually improve their technical knowledge and skills. All of these activities provide Continuing Professional Education (CPE) points based on the number of hours undertaken of approved activity.

The policy agenda comprises fundamental objectives of the Internal Audit community. The Institute is committed to maintaining this significant contribution to the public, private and not for profit sectors.
