Excellence Awards 2025 Terms and Conditions

In order for an entry to be considered, it must adhere to the following rules and general guidelines for entry (terms and conditions):

  1. All entries must be submitted by the specified entry deadline. Entries will not be considered fully submitted until the entrant proceeds to the final stage and submits their entry. A confirmation email will be received once complete. 

  1. Each entry must be made using the online entry template or Word template submission; entries will not be accepted by any other means and any supporting materials must be submitted through the online portal or email as outlines on each award page. 

  1. Contact details for the nominee are mandatory; please note we may disclose the details of the party that made the nomination to the nominee. 

  1. When entries reference a third party, such as a client, consent to submit this content from said third party is assumed. 

  1. Entries may be edited up until the point of submission. 

  1. The IIA-Australia accepts no responsibility for any incorrectly submitted information. 

  1. Any entry may be withdrawn for any reason up until midnight on the entry deadline day upon written request to the organisers. 

  1. The Awards are considering long term achievements; this means that the work contained within the entry must have been carried out over an extended time period. 

  1. The Nomination Committee’s and the Boards decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding them. 

  1. The winners of IIA-Australia Awards will be announced at SOPAC® the year following nomination. 

  1. By entering IIA-Australia Awards (if shortlisted), you agree that the Nominee will be available to attend the lunch on Day 2 of SOPAC®, or a local Members Meeting.  

  1. Unless otherwise stated in the Award Prize, all travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the Winner.  

  1. Where an Award Prize includes flights, this is only for Nominees living outside the state where SOPAC® will be held; only for economy class travel from within Australia; and is capped at $600 return for travel from mainland eastern seaboard states, $750 return for travel from Tasmania or South Australia and $1,000 return for travel from other states/territories. Transfers, insurance and associated travel costs are the responsibility of the Nominee (and parties) and    

  1. Where an Award Prize includes accommodation, this is for one standard room for up to two people at an hotel selected by the organisers.  

  1. Please note: In the event that your entry is a winner, the nominees name and organisation, along with a summary of the nomination may be used on Awards collateral (e.g. Website, Awards graphics, Awards Supplement etc) and may be used by IIA to promote the profession and Awards.
