Join the IIA-Australia’s Queensland Chapter as we join the BetterAIM team to discuss strategic asset management and how risk can be understood and reduced through digital transformation for asset-intensive organisations.
This session will focus on real-life case studies to demonstrate how infrastructure and service risks can be identified and presented to support improved discussions and decision making around risk.
Speakers:
Cameron Jessup – Regional Director – Queensland / Technical Director – Water Services Advisory
Cameron is a RPEQ registered and CPEng accredited civil engineer based in Mackay, with 20 years of experience in government, utilities, and infrastructure. He has worked with local government, utility service providers, and state government bodies, managing diverse stakeholder needs and delivering complex programs. Recently, Cameron has provided engineering services for local governments in Qld, including cyclone disaster recovery, operational performance and risk reviews, digital asset management plans, hydraulic modelling, and maintenance maturity assessments.
Paul Davis – Regional Director – Tasmania / Technical Director – Asset Management
Paul is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience working across several industry sectors. Including most recently Mackay Regional Council, Unity Water, TasWater and Tasmanian Irrigation. He specialises in asset performance, criticality and risk management and was directly responsible for the development of the organisation’s condition assessment methodology and plans.
Mark Rippon – Associate Director – Asset Management
Mark is an experienced asset management practitioner. Mark specialises in helping asset-intensive organisations develop insights into their asset infrastructure to understand the contribution to customer outcomes and organisational success. Mark excels in developing knowledge of organisations quickly to understand their challenges while helping to develop capability.
