To be eligible, a nominee must:

Be able to demonstrate they have made a valued contribution to their organisation, such as:

Introduced an innovative internal audit approach that improved the internal audit process for the function and/or stakeholders.

Increased the visibility and acceptance of Internal Audit as an essential function of a healthy organisation.

Fostered organisational capability through education, support of others and collaboration.

Successfully implemented another initiative not referred to above.

Be able to provide the organisation’s endorsement of the achievement.

Have no more than 5 years' experience as an internal auditor and be employed in the profession at the time of nominating

Have good professional standing and be a financial member of the IIA-Australia.
People who are ineligible to apply:
-
IIA Global and IIA-Australia Board and Board Committee members at the time of nomination or judging are not eligible.

Any person who has directly or indirectly received payment for work performed for IIA-Australia in the 12 months prior to nomination.
