To be eligible, a nominee must:

Be able to demonstrate how the function/team adheres to the Standards in daily practice.

Be able to demonstrate significant contribution to their organisation’s performance through its work, such as:

Introduced innovative internal audit approaches in their organisation that improved audit outcomes.

Increased the visibility and credibility of Internal Audit function with senior management, ARC and/or the Board.

Delivered an internal audit plan that aligned with the organisation’s strategy, with reports accepted by Management and the Board.

Successfully implemented another initiative not referred to above.

Be able to provide the organisation’s endorsement of the achievement.

At the time of nomination and judging, the CAE and senior team members of the team are financial members of the IIA-Australia.
People who are ineligible to apply:
-
IIA Global and IIA-Australia Board and Board Committee members at the time of nomination or judging are not eligible.

Any person who has directly or indirectly received payment for work performed for IIA-Australia in the 12 months prior to nomination.
